Lesson 47: As and Like with Cleo
Cleo distinguishes between similarity and function. "Like is a preposition followed by noun/pronoun/gerund: She's like a queen. Tom treats me like a princess. As is a conjunction followed by subject + verb: Do as I say. Or means 'in the role of': I act as the ruler of this house. Like I said, humans are tools — as any cat knows."
